How to Watch True Detective Season 3 Online Using a VPN

True Detective airs on HBO Go and Now, both of which are unavailable outside the US. But, that doesn’t mean viewers outside the US can’t access any of these services abroad. With the right VPN, they can stream all the content they want from anywhere around the world.

What a VPN would do is connect your device to one of its servers located in the country of your choosing. Your connection gets rerouted through that server, granting you the IP of the country where the server you connected to is located. Afterward, you’ll be able to access all of that country’s content as if you are physically located in it. Here’s what you need to unblock HBO Go or Now outside the US.

  1. Sign up with a VPN provider.
  2. Download and install the VPN application on your streaming device.
  3. Launch the VPN application and sign in using your VPN account.
  4. Now, connect to a server in the US.
  5. Now, you have an American IP address.
  6. Enjoy watching True Detective from anywhere in the world.

There’s a reason why ExpressVPN always tops our list. It is well-known for its stable performances, guaranteed results, and excellent services. This service provider can bypass all kinds of restrictions and grant you access to whatever you can’t access from where you are located. About True Detective

True Detective is an anthology series in which police investigations uncover the personal and professional secrets of those involved within and outside the law. Just like the first two seasons of True Detective, its third season will run for eight episodes. Series creator Nic Pizzolatto is writing all eight, though Deadwood creator David Milch has a co-writing credit on episode four. Pizzolatto is also making his directorial debut in season three, with Jeremy Saulnier (Green Room) directing two episodes as well.

While season one characters Rust Cohle and Marty Hart aren’t going to return due to True Detective’s status as an anthology, season one stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are executive producers for season three and so is season one director Fukunaga. Michael Greyeyes, Jon Tenney, Rhys Wakefield, Sarah Gadon, Emily Nelson, Brandon Flynn, and Michael Graziadei will also be part of the season, though details about their characters have not yet been announced.
