Have tried significant problem solving with express vpn and Nord… neither work for sky go nZ live content… it is now in the express vpn backlog as a feature for future releases. But no guarantee of timings for the release..

Hi All, I have tried the set this up again after it working about three years ago (using express VPN). Seem to be having the same issues as everyone else. Has anyone actually got this to work in 2020?
I just tried nordvpn and it didn’t work. Tried it on iOS and Mac and Android systems. Chatted with help there and they said it doesn’t work for sky go nz.

Express VPN dont support sky go nz. This is what they told me in the comment below: “We are able to make it work for Sky Go UK and Sky Go Italy but we cannot guarantee that it will work for Sky Go NZ though.
Please connect to either Italy – Cosenza, UK – Berkshire 2, UK – Kent or UK – East London.”
If I only have a NZ sky Go acc will doing what they suggest above work with sky go nz? Or do I need a sky go U.K or sky go Italy subscription?

It seems Sky New Zealand have now restricted access to people connecting from ISPs only in New Zealand – which isn’t too hard with there only being a couple of NZ based ISPs. Currently we have no alternative workaround.

Sky have figured out how to block all VPNs as far as I can tell. You just can’t fool the system, which is a worry, as the whole VPN industry is based on IP address obscurity. The browser compatibility problem is poss Safari. It works with Chrome.

Hey man, Just done exactly as you said and got the expressVPN however once changing my location to NZ and go onto skygo to watch sky sport, it now says
