How to Watch Virgin TV Go outside UK
How to get Virgin TV Go outside UK? Virgin TV Go, formerly Virgin TV Anywhere, is a British streaming service that allows users to watch over 45 Live TV channels. The service also offers subscriber On Demand TV shows and Movies online. Unfortunately for UK expats living in USA, Canada, Australia, UAE, or elsewhere abroad, Virgin TV is geoblocked. In the tutorial below, you can find instructions on how to use VPN to spoof your online location and bypass regional restrictions. Thus, watch your favorite streaming services on your PC, Mac, Android, iPhone or iPad no matter where you are.
How to Watch Virgin TV Go outside UK with VPN
We have all been there. You travel abroad, either on holiday or for work, and you decide you want to watch your favorite TV shows from back home online. Instead of the TV show, you’re presented with a geo-location error that states that the streaming service isn’t available in your current location. That means that you won’t be able to use your subscription until you return to the UK. Luckily, there is a workaround. What you need to do is hide your real online location. This can be done by using a virtual private network, better known as VPN.
- First of all, sign up with a VPN service. Stay away from free VPNs like Hola as those can harm your online security and do not work properly in most cases.
- Now that you have created your VPN account, download and install the VPN app from the VPN provider’s website.
- Launch the app and connect to a VPN server in the UK.
- You now appear to be browsing the web using a British IP address.
- This approach allows you to unblock all UK channels Go overseas including Virgin TV, BBC iPlayer, TVPlayer, Channel 4, Channel 5, and of course ITV Player.
I do recommend using ExpressVPN to watch UK TV outside UK, mainly due to their 30-day refund guarantee. The best VPN services you can use to stream your favorite TV shows via Virgin TV Go around the world are as follows.

How to Unblock Virgin TV Go Overseas – Final Thoughts
Using VPN does not only allow you to avoid geo-restrictions. You can browse the web anonymously while you are connected to a VPN server as well. That’s because all of your Internet traffic is encrypted. If you’re looking for a better, and safer, online experience, VPN simply is a must.
I have Virgin TV go on my phone in the UK I am spending 2 months in Tenerife next year can you tell me how I can get this service in Tenerife if the property I am staying in has good internet.
Have express VPN in spain and cannot connect to virgin uk tv. I’ve tried both docklands and east London but neither work. Can get itv hub and BBC iPlayer though. This is most disappointing!
Avoid express vpn, it will not work in spain with virgin tv to. I spent hours of my vaction with 2 different advisors and many attempts using all 3 London servers and the Wembley one. To eventually be told Virgin may have stepped up their security. Frustrated and out of pocket. I took the pain so you don’t have too. Express VPN no good at all.
Hi, just got a vpn but still can’t access BBCiPlayer, ITV Hub, or watch Sky Sports on my Virgin TV Go off my mac pro!! Same as others, just says not available in this area! Useless.
Do not wast your time using Nordvpn on an iPad for Virgin Media go, no matter what they tell you all you get is “ sorry not available in this region” as you will find out once you get there which by now is to late to watch what you wanted. It is beyond me why companies like this waste our time, the only reason I can think is because it is free for thirty days they hope you. Don’t cancel in time so they get a years money off you. Come on Norton you should be better than that.
This seems like Virgin will be saying we are doing all we can. NOT REALLY as all the others
I have purchased and installed ExpressVPN and trying to watch uk tv channels in Turkey without any success .contacted VPN express several times they suggested to connect Kent, dockland, east London etc but all l get this service not available in this region.l can only watchBBC IPLAYER but not any other channels.any suggestions please
Hi Gurkan. Which other UK channels are you trying to unblock in Turkey?
As far as I know, there is no VPN that works with Virgin TV Go. Whatever they use, detects that You are not in one of the supported countries
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll abandon that idea now!
Hi – I wondered if this method still works as I read on another site that this vpn hack wouldn’t work after April 2018. Do you know if it does? Thanks!
No don’t work I’m in Greece at the moment and although I’ve got express vpn installed correctly bbc I player and others work fine but virgin tv go won’t work Bering in mind they are supposed to work in any European country
After some research I found out virgin is the only one in the world that only “supports” old IPV4 so as all other internet services around the world are on IPV6 virgin tv go won’t work
